THIRD KAGURA Pty Ltd ("THIRD KAGURA", "we", "us", or "our") operates DJAUDIO.AU. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and provide access to personal information submitted through the DJAUDIO.AU equipment rental website.

01Scope

This policy applies to personal information handled through djaudio.au, including quote requests and related rental communications. Other THIRD KAGURA services may provide their own privacy notice.

02Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Our current quote form may collect:

Quote details — name, email address, event venue, preferred and alternative event dates, and notes you choose to add;
Request details — selected equipment, services, quantities, and estimated pricing shown in your request; and
Correspondence — messages and information exchanged while we prepare or manage your quote or booking.

Please do not place payment card details, identity documents, or other sensitive information in the Notes field. The current quote form does not request them.

2.2 Information used to confirm a booking

After the quote stage, we may request information through direct communication where reasonably needed to confirm and protect a rental booking:

identity verification — an identity document and related verification details;
payment information — handled through the payment method stated in the written quote; and
security bond information — details needed to receive, hold, release, or account for the AUD 200 security bond.

We will explain the required method when the quote is accepted. Do not send full payment card details by ordinary email or through the quote-form Notes field.

2.3 Technical and security information

Cloudflare may process limited connection, device, browser, IP address, request, and security information to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes technical and interaction signals to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse.

03Why We Use It

We use personal information to:

prepare and respond to quote requests;
confirm availability, pricing, event details, and bookings;
verify the booking holder and administer payment and the security bond;
coordinate delivery, setup, pickup, and requested services;
communicate about a request, booking, change, or cancellation;
protect the website, detect abuse, and troubleshoot errors; and
meet accounting, insurance, dispute, and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use quote details to market unrelated THIRD KAGURA services without separate permission.

04Who We Share It With

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

Cloudflare — website delivery, security, Turnstile, and, where enabled, aggregate web analytics;
Google services — receive quote requests, send communications, and coordinate bookings;
delivery or service partners — only for an accepted booking and only to the extent needed to provide it;
professional advisers and insurers — where needed for advice, claims, accounting, or dispute handling; and
government bodies or law enforcement — where required or authorised by law.

05Cookies and Page State

Equipment selections are held in the active browser page so the quote builder can work. They are not used for targeted advertising and do not persist after the page is refreshed or closed. Cloudflare may use essential security storage or signals to operate Turnstile and protect the website. Where Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is used for aggregate site measurement rather than cross-site advertising.

06Overseas Processing

THIRD KAGURA is based in Australia. Cloudflare and Google operate global infrastructure, so information may be processed or stored in Australia, the United States, or other locations where those providers operate. We select established providers and take reasonable steps appropriate to the information and service involved.

07Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, access controls, input limits, spam protection, and server-side validation. Identity documents are requested only after the quote stage where reasonably required for a rental and are not requested through the public quote form. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We keep enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed to respond, manage a booking or dispute, protect the service, or meet record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.

08Access, Correction, and Complaints

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to delete or de-identify it where appropriate and where no legal or operational reason requires us to retain it.

Contact rental@djaudio.au. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you make a privacy complaint, we will review it and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

09Children

The rental service is intended for people aged 18 or over. A person under 18 should have a parent or guardian make the request.

10Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when our systems, providers, or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current version.
